On Wednesday night, ESPN MLB Insider Jeff Passan reported that free-agent pitcher Framber Valdez has signed a three-year contract with the Detroit Tigers.

Tigers manager A.J. Hinch remembered Valdez pitching for him when he managed the Houston Astros.

Now, Valdez joins a pitching staff that's anchored by ace Tarik Skubal.

It'll be interesting to see how Valdez acclimates himself to the Tigers' pitching staff during Spring Training.
