Giants fans, mark your calendars! Pitchers and catchers report February 10th, with the full squad joining February 15th, kicking off the 2026 season preparations.

As baseball fans look toward the start of the 2026 season, the Spring Training workout schedule has now been released, outlining when each Major League team will begin on-field preparations.

These initial workouts mark the first step toward Opening Day, with pitchers and catchers starting earlier, followed by full squads joining in shortly thereafter. Dates are tentative and subject to change, but reflect the league’s official reporting timeline.

In the Cactus League in Arizona, several clubs will get rolling early in February. The Arizona Diamondbacks, Chicago White Sox, San Francisco Giants, and Texas Rangers all have their first pitchers and catchers workouts slated for Tuesday, February 10, with their entire teams taking the field on Sunday, February 15.

Teams like the Athletics, Cubs, and Reds will start their workouts on Wednesday, February 11, before welcoming their full rosters on Monday, February 16.

Other Arizona squads follow closely behind. The Guardians and Rockies will kick off for pitchers and catchers on Thursday, February 12, with the full group on Tuesday, February 17.

The Dodgers’ first workout for pitchers and catchers is scheduled for Friday, February 13, followed by a full-team session on Tuesday, February 17. A few clubs—like the Angels and Royals—also start February 11 workouts before assembling the whole roster on February 16.

Across the Grapefruit League in Florida, a similar pattern emerges. The Atlanta Braves, Boston Red Sox, and several others will hold their first pitchers and catchers sessions on Tuesday, February 10, then bring everyone together on Sunday, February 15.

Teams, including the Baltimore Orioles, Houston Astros, Miami Marlins, New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies, Toronto Blue Jays, and Washington Nationals, begin their workouts on Wednesday, February 11, with full squads beginning on Monday, February 16.

There are also a few slight variations: The Detroit Tigers will work first on February 11 before the full team on February 15, while the Tampa Bay Rays follow a Thursday, February 12 start for both pitchers/catchers and full squad on Tuesday, February 17.

Overall, these dates provide a framework for each franchise’s preseason ramp-up as clubs focus on conditioning, roster decisions, and preparing for the regular season ahead.
