Giants players Luis Arraez and Logan Webb have been named the San Francisco Giants' representatives for the 2026 MLB All-Star Game.
Despite an inconsistent first half that has left the San Francisco Giants searching for momentum, two of the club's most dependable performers will represent San Francisco at the 2026 MLB All-Star Game.
Second baseman Luis Arraez and right-hander Logan Webb were selected to the National League roster for the Midsummer Classic, which will be held July 14 at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.
The selections recognize two players who have consistently delivered for the Giants throughout the season.
Arraez Rewarded for Complete Season
Arraez has been everything that the Giants envisioned when they signed him during the offseason.
The veteran infielder enters the All-Star break batting .326 with an .825 OPS, four home runs and 32 RBIs across 82 games. His elite contact skills remain among the best in baseball, as his 3.9 percent strikeout rate is the lowest in the majors, while his batting average ranks among the league leaders.
While Arraez's offensive production has been expected after winning three batting titles, his defensive growth has become one of the season's biggest surprises.
After spending much of the previous two years splitting time between first base and designated hitter, Arraez has successfully returned to second base.
His improved range and consistency have transformed him into one of the position's strongest defenders, highlighted by 11 Outs Above Average entering Saturday, tied for fourth among all major league defenders regardless of position.
The selection marks the fourth All-Star appearance of Arraez's career after previous honors in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
Webb Returns to Midsummer Classic
Webb will make his third consecutive All-Star appearance after overcoming a difficult start to the season.
The Giants' ace posted a 5.06 ERA through his first eight starts before a stint on the injured list with right knee bursitis interrupted his campaign. Since returning in late May, however, Webb has looked like the frontline starter San Francisco has relied upon in recent years.
Over his seven starts following his return, Webb recorded a 2.18 ERA while reestablishing himself as the anchor of the Giants' rotation. His strong finish to the first half also earned him National League Pitcher of the Month honors for June.
Overall, Webb owns a 3.66 ERA through 15 starts this season and is expected to make one final outing before the All-Star break, leaving him available to pitch for the National League if called upon.
Bright Spots in a Challenging First Half
While the Giants have endured an uneven season, Arraez and Webb have provided consistency on both sides of the ball.
Arraez has anchored the lineup with elite contact hitting and improved defense, while Webb has once again assumed the role of staff ace after returning from injury.
Their All-Star selections offer well-earned recognition for two players who have carried much of the load for San Francisco through the season's first half.
