The Cleveland Guardians have some of MLB’s most intriguing top prospects, including Angel Genao and Ralphy Velazquez. But what about the lesser-known Minor Leaguers with high potential in Cleveland’s organization?

Here are three under-the-radar Guardians prospects who continue to improve their stock. 

Right now, Robert Arias is ranked as the Guardian's No. 20 prospect. However, if he continues on the trajectory he’s currently on, there’s a good chance the 20-year-old will be considered a top-10 prospect in the organization by the time the 2026 season comes to an end.

Arias is off to an incredibly strong start to the 2026 season. The left-handed hitter has a slash line of .293/.403/.453, including 10 doubles and four home runs in 150 at-bats at Single-A. 

Perhaps the most impressive part of Arias’ game is his plate discipline. He owns a strikeout rate of 13.3 percent and a walk rate of 16 percent. 

This is Arias’ first season playing affiliate-level ball after signing as an amateur free agent out of the Dominican Republic in 2024. With that in mind, he may not be the most popular name in Cleveland’s organization, but that could quickly change with the way he’s been playing.

Justin Campbell was a highly-regarded pitching prospect in Cleveland’s farm system after he was drafted 37th overall in 2022. However, the hype cooled substantially after he sustained an injury that sidelined him for nearly four years.

Now, Campbell is healthy, and he’s showing why the Guardians made him such a high draft pick so many years ago.

The right-handed pitcher allowed four runs over his first 15 innings (2.40 ERA) at High-A to start the 2026 season.

Cleveland quickly promoted him to Double-A, and Campbell has been even better since that roster move. In Campbell’s first three starts with the RubberDucks, he owns a 1.69 ERA, a 1.13 WHIP, and has struck out 12 batters.

With Campbell already being 25 years old, the Guardians could quickly move him through the organization, making him a potential candidate to impact Cleveland’s big-league team in the near future. 

The Guardians and New York Mets made a minor move over the offseason that snuck under the radar outside of the two cities. That move was Cleveland's acquisition of LHP Franklin Gomez for international bonus pool money.

So far, this deal is looking positive for the Guardians, as Gomez is improving his stock at High-A.

Through Gomez’s first eight games in Cleveland’s organization, he has a 2.76 ERA and a 1.05 WHIP. The left-hander has also struck out 27.3 percent of the hitters he’s faced.

It’s still up in the air whether Gomez’s future is as a starter or a reliever, but the stats prove that his potential is still high.
