Two new players entered the Cleveland Guardians' top prospects list with Chase DeLauter and Peyton Pallette's graduation.

The 2026 season has been about letting the Cleveland Guardians' rookies and prospects see what they can do at the big-league level.

With that, the Guardians are seeing some shifts and changes with the top prospects in their farm system.

On Sunday, both Chase DeLauter and Peyton Pallette graduated from their prospect status, meaning two new players entered MLB Pipeline’s top-30 chart for the Cleveland organization.

Justin Campbell

The first new player who has entered Cleveland’s top-30 prospect list is RHP Justin Campbell. He had just entered the charts, though, Campbell now jumps to the organization’s No. 22 overall prospect.

That ranking is well warranted, and perhaps maybe even a little low when looking at Campbell’s ceiling as a big-league pitcher.

There’s never been any doubt about the talent of Campbell when he’s been on the mound. The 25-year-old’s biggest problem has been just that, though, saying on the mound. Campbell has suffered multiple injuries since the Guardians selected him with the No. 27 overall pick in the 2022 MLB Draft.

So far this season, Campbell has a 1.89 ERA, 0.89 WHIP, with a strikeout rate of 36 percent.

Campbell finally made his affiliate debut with the Lake County Captains (High-A) earlier this season. After just six starts at that level, the Guardians felt Campbell was already ready for the next stage of his career and promoted him to Double-A after a hot start.

If Campbell keeps this up, he could make another big jump in the rankings once the mid-season, post-draft lists are unveiled.

Jackson Humphries

The other newcomer to Cleveland’s top prospect list is LHP Jackson Humphries. The southpaws is another member of Cleveland’s 2022 draft class, and now comes as the organization’s No. 27 overall prospect.

Humphries is in the middle of the best start of his Minor League career. In six starts at High-A, the left-hander owns a 3.86 ERA and a 1.16 WHIP.

Humphries has showcased a newfound command of the zone so far this year and owns a strikeout rate of 36.1 percent and a walk rate of 13.3 percent.

The 21-year-old is far from a finished product, but the potential is certainly there for him to be considered one of the top talents in Cleveland’s farm system.
