The Mariners will look to win their second consecutive road series win against the Twins.
The Seattle Mariners earned three valuable wins over the weekend with a series sweep against the St. Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium.
The sweep extended the Mariners' win streak to four games, was their first road series win of the season and brought them to one game below .500 (14-15).
Seattle will have an opportunity to get over .500 in the final series of its current road trip — a three-game set against the Minnesota Twins at Target Field in Minneapolis.
Here's the pitching matchups for the series between the Mariners and Twins:
April 27: Luis Castillo (Seattle, 0-1, 5.01 ERA) vs. Connor Prielipp (Minnesota, 0-0, 4.50 ERA)
It's been a rough start to the season for Seattle veteran pitcher Luis Castillo, but he'll be looking to get back on track after a solid start against the Athletics on April 21. He fanned six, walked two and allowed two earned runs on five hits (one home run) in five innings pitched.
Castillo's last outing was his first with less than four runs allowed since his first of the season against the New York Yankees on March 30.
The veteran will be taking on a rookie in the series opener.
Connor Prielipp will be looking to build on the first outing of his major league career, which came against the New York Mets on April 22. He fanned six and allowed two earned runs on four hits in four innings pitched.
April 27: Logan Gilbert (Seattle, 1-3, 4.36 ERA) vs. Joe Ryan (Minnesota, 2-2, 3.90 ERA)
Logan Gilbert will be looking to bounce back after his shortest outing of the season against the Athletics on April 22. He struck out three batters, walked two, hit another and allowed three earned runs on six hits in four innings of work.

April 29: George Kirby (Seattle, 4-2, 2.97 ERA) vs. Taj Bradley (Minnesota, 3-1, 2.91 ERA)
George Kirby will get the final turn against Minnesota coming off his third quality start in his last four appearances. He struck out two, issued a walk, hit a batter and allowed two earned runs on five hits in six innings pitched against the Cardinals on April 24.
Taj Bradley is coming off a lengthy 6.1-inning start against the Tampa Bay Rays on April 24 but gave up many runs in his outing. He fanned three, walked three and allowed six earned runs on seven hits (four home runs).
