SEATTLE — The Seattle Mariners are coming off a disappointing 4-6 road trip in which they lost respective three-game series against the Detroit Tigers and Washington Nationals while splitting a four-game set against the Baltimore Orioles.

The Mariners' losing road trip left them with a 37-36 record and just a half-game lead in the American League West over the Athletics.

Seattle will look to bounce back in an upcoming six-game homestand, which includes three-game series' against the Orioles and the Boston Red Sox.

The Mariners will be healthier in this matchup with the O's than they were in the previous one, with veteran infielder J.P. Crawford and catcher Cal Raleigh both expected to make their returns off the injured list on Tuesday.

The Mariners will start off their homestand with game one of the three-game set against the Orioles at 6:40 p.m. PT on Tuesday at T-Mobile Park.

Here's the pitching matchups for the series between Seattle and Baltimore:

Logan Gilbert will be looking to make it two quality starts in a row against the Orioles.

Gilbert struck out five, walked two and allowed one earned run on three hits in six innings pitched in his last outing, which came against Baltimore on June 9.

Brandon Young will also be aiming for his second-straight quality start. He fanned five, walked two and surrendered two hits in seven innings pitched against Seattle on June 10.

Like Gilbert, George Kirby will be looking for his second-straight quality start against the O's.

In his first start against the Orioles on June 10, Kirby struck out 10, walked three and allowed three earned runs on seven hits (one home run) in six innings pitched.

Kyle Bradish, unlike the trio of aforementioned pitchers on both sides, will be looking to bounce back after an inefficient outing against Seattle on June 11. He fanned five, walked three and allowed five earned runs on seven hits (three homers) in four innings pitched.

The Mariners' starting pitcher for Thursday's series finale is still to-be-announced, but based on reports, it will likely be either Bryce Miller or Luis Castillo. Potentially both.

Seattle opted to go with a six-man starting rotation through its 10-game road trip. Before that, it went three turns through the rotation with a piggyback arrangement in which either Castillo or Miller started with the other going in long-relief.

It's still undecided whether the Mariners will stick with a six-man rotation or go back to the piggyback arrangement.

Castillo struck out four batters, walked two and allowed five runs (two earned) on seven hits (one home run) in 5.2 innings of work against the Nationals on June 13.

Miller fanned seven and allowed two earned runs on four hits (two homers) in eight innings pitched against Washington on June 12.

Seattle could also go with Bryan Woo for the series finale, who will be looking to get back to his typical form after a rough road trip. He allowed a combined 12 earned runs and struck out 11 hitters in 11.1 innings pitched in outings against the Tigers and Nationals.

Baz will be looking to post a more efficient outing than his most recent one against the San Diego Padres on June 12. He struck out one, walked two, hit a batter and allowed  three runs (two earned) on six hits in five innings pitched.
