The Seattle Mariners major league club will be looking to do something for the first time in franchise history.
The Mariners won the American League West championship for the first time since 2001, and they'll be looking to make and win a World Series championship, both for the first time in franchise history.
Seattle will have a bye through the wild card round of the playoffs and will face either the Detroit Tigers or Cleveland Guardians in Game 1 of the best-of-five American League Divisional Series at a to-be-determined time Oct. 4 at T-Mobile Park.
While the Mariners will be looking to win their first-ever championship, many of their top prospects will be preparing for 2026.
Seattle announced its roster for its annual high performance camp Monday, and many top 100 prospects are included on that list.
The pitchers who'll take a part in high performance camp are: Kade Anderson, Aiden Butler, Jurrangelo Cijntje, Walter Ford, Griffin Hugus, Lucas Kelly, Po-Chun Lin, Isaac Lyon, Danny Macchiarola, Teddy McGraw, Dustin Revis, Maston Peters, Colton Shaw, Chia-Shi Shen, Ryan Sloan, Evan Truitt and Dylan Wilson.
The catchers taking part will be: Luke Stevenson, Josh Caron and Luke Heyman.
The infielders at high performance camp will be: Michael Arroyo, Nick Becker, Leandro Romero and Dervy Ventura.
The outfielders will be: Kelvin Alcantara, Yorger Bautista, Korbyn Dickerson and Lazaro Montes.
The Mariners have nine top 100 prospects according to MLB Pipeline and eight according to Baseball America.
The top 100 prospects will be: Montes (No. 28 MLB Pipeline top 100, No. 34 Baseball America top 100), Arroyo (No. 58 MLB Pipeline, No. 57 Baseball America), Cijntje (No. 89 MLB Pipeline, No. 89 Baseball America), Sloan (No. 41 MLB Pipeline, No. 64 Baseball America) and Anderson (No. 22 MLB Pipeline, No. 29 Baseball America).
Anderson was Seattle's top selection and the No. 3 overall pick in the 2025 MLB Draft. The Mariners' second and third picks in the draft, Stevenson and Becker, are also included on the roster. Both Stevenson and Becker received playing time with the Single-A Modesto Nuts. Anderson is still waiting to make his debut in Seattle's organization.
The Mariners will also have two of the crown jewels from the 2025 international signing period, Bautista and Lin.
Bautista, who was the No. 6 international prospect in the 2025 class, spent this year in the Dominican Summer League. Lin didn't make a start this year but did have a stint on the 60-day injured list.
