The Mariners dominated their American League West arch rivals and secured at least a series split against the Astros

The Seattle Mariners have seemingly put their series loss against the Chicago White Sox behind them.

The Mariners beat their American League West arch rivals, the Houston Astros, 10-2 on Tuesday at Daikin Park in Houston. The win was Seattle's second-straight of the four-game series, guaranteeing the club at least a series split.

The Mariners will have the opportunity to earn the series win against the Astros in game three of the series at 5:10 p.m. PT on Wednesday.

Here are several takeaways from Seattle's dominant showing against Houston:

Cal Raleigh snaps out of cold streak

Mariners catcher and defending American League MVP Cal Raleigh entered Tuesday's game 0-for-36. He went 0-for-2 in his first two at bats Tuesday, increasing his cold streak to 0-for-38.

Raleigh snapped his dry spell with a single in the top of the seventh. He had another single in the top of the ninth and finished the game 2-for-4 with three runs. He reached base a third time via a walk.

Now that Raleigh is out of his cold streak, he'll look to build off his game against Houston and look to regain his MVP form.

Randy Arozarena has historic performance

Whether it was against Astros starting pitcher Tatsuya Imai or the team's bullpen, Mariners left fielder Randy Arozarena was able to do what he wanted at the plate.

The two-time All-Star finished Tuesday's game 4-for-4 with four runs, three RBIs and a homer. He also reached base via a hit-by-pitch. Two of his RBIs came via a two-run homer.

The only other player in Seattle history to hit a homer, have a steal and hit two doubles like Arozarena in a single game was Alex Rodriguez, who did so in a game against the Kansas City Royals on April 20, 1998.

Bryan Woo back to typical form

Bryan Woo hit a brief speed bump this season during a pair of starts against the St. Louis Cardinals on April 25 and the Royals on May 1. He allowed at least six earned runs in both outings.

Woo has bounced back and has posted two consecutive quality starts. He struck out nine, walked two and allowed one hit in six innings against the Atlanta Braves on May 6.

Against Houston on Tuesday, he fanned nine, walked two and allowed two earned runs on four hits in six innings pitched.

Other notes

-- Seattle designated hitter Dominic Canzone hit the first grand slam of his career in the top of the fourth inning. His grand slam broke a 2-2 tie and gave the M's a 6-2 advantage.

-- Mariners starting pitcher Bryce Miller will be making his season debut in game three of the four-game series Wednesday. He's missed the entire year to this point due to a left oblique strain.
