Brandon Compton’s historic six-RBI night fueled Pensacola’s blowout victory, as Miami’s power-hitting outfielder matched a franchise record while homering for the fourth consecutive game to lead the system.

Miami’s No. 11 prospect LF Brandon Compton stood out among the Marlins Top-30 prospects with a big night at the plate on Saturday.

Compton went 3-for-5 with a home run and six RBI to lead Double-A Pensacola to a 16-6 win over Biloxi. He tied Jakob Marsee in 2024 for the Blue Wahoos’ single-game record for RBI.

Compton leads all Marlins minor leaguers with 20 home runs and has now homered in four-straight games.

The Marlins drafted Compton in the second round last year out of Arizona State. He earned Pac-12 Conference freshman of the year honors in 2024 with the Sun Devils and put together a record-setting Draft Combine performance with the three hardest exit velocities in the event's five-year history.

Compton both teased his power and speed last summer. In his return to Beloit, he slugged 12 home runs with 40 RBI and 17 stolen bases in 60 games before being promoted to Double-A.

In 13 games with the Blue Wahoos, Compton is slashing .373/.418/.863 with eight homers and 19 RBI.
