The Washington Nationals will be well represented in the Arizona Fall League, set to begin on Saturday, Oct. 3

Right handed pitcher Jarlin Susana will get a chance to showcase himself as a potential starter in the Arizona Fall League once it officially begins on Saturday, Oct. 3 through the championship game set for Nov. 14 at the Peoria Sports Complex. Yet he is one of several from the Washington Nationals who are set to suit up in the offseason league after rosters were officially released this week.

Catcher Kevin Bazzell is also set to suit up as the former third round pick from the 2024 MLB Draft looks to build on his season. Bazzell posted nine home runs and 29 RBIs while hitting .287 in 2026 with the overwhelming majority of his appearances coming in High A before spending 13 games in Double A with the Harrisburg Senators.

Left handed pitcher Noah Dean, a fifth round pick from the Boston Red Sox in 2022, is also set to suit up where he will look to bounce back from a winless 2026 season. Dean owned a 6.91 ERA and 1.81 WHIP while tossing 21 strikeouts across 14.1 innings in 12 games.

Dean is one of two left handers on the roster alongside Nolan Hughes, a former 16th round selection in the 2024 MLB Draft. Hughes appeared in only four games in 2026, his first year of his professional career, where he tossed 17 strikeouts in seven innings while owning a 2.57 ERA and 1.71 WHIP.
