Brice Turang’s clutch sacrifice fly capped a stunning rally in Houston after Abner Uribe escaped a bases-loaded jam to keep Milwaukee’s late-inning magic alive in the desert.
Despite an early home run and a fiery three-run bottom of the fourth by the Houston Astros, the Milwaukee Brewers were able to force extra frames and walk away with a suspenseful 5-4 victory in Houston.
It was a sacrifice fly by second baseman Brice Turang that turned out to be the go-head RBI, sending Christian Yelich home for the deciding run.

It was Brewers closer Anne Uribe that forced the game into the 10th inning by getting out of the bottom of the ninth in a bases loaded situation.
Uribe was eligible to participate in Friday night’s matchup against Houston despite facing a one-game suspension following a triple-shot of inappropriate gestures in his last appearance against the St. Louis Cardinals. He was allowed to participate while his appeal to the disciplinary decision is heard.
His pitching and Turang’s hitting were enough to overcome the earlier 4-1 deficit to secure their 34th win of the season, taking the first game in the weekend series against the Astros.
The early lead was surrendered by rookie pitcher Cameron Crow, who was replaced by DJ Hall at the top of the fifth inning.
Houston falls to 26-33 in the season who are coming off of six wins over their last eight game, including back-to-back victories on the road against the Texas Rangers.
Up next, on Saturday night, the Astros will look to bounce back with right handed pitcher Ryan Lambert against Milwaukee righty Brandon Sproat.
