The future is bright for the Baltimore Orioles.

The Baltimore Orioles ended 2026 without a playoff berth. It was another disappointing season for the O's. However, their farm system gives the organization plenty to look forward to.

MLB Pipeline's final Top 100 rankings featured six Orioles prospects, led by outfielder Eric Booth Jr. at No. 37.

Several of Baltimore's top prospects graduated to the big leagues this year. That list includes Samuel Basallo, Dylan Beavers and Brandon Young. All three players moved out of prospect status, creating room for a new group to emerge at the top of the system.

Booth is the newest member of that group. The Orioles selected the 18-year-old seventh overall in the 2026 MLB Draft, and his athleticism quickly pushed him to the top of the organization's prospect rankings.

He hit .284 with a .390 on-base percentage and .718 OPS in 18 games this season. He is not expected to reach the majors anytime soon, with 2030 being a realistic timeline.

Anthony Eyanson ranks No. 45 after arriving from the Boston Red Sox at the trade deadline in the deal that sent catcher Adley Rutschman to Fenway. He posted a 2.03 ERA with 47 strikeouts in 31 innings for Double-A Chesapeake after the move. Eyanson could factor into Baltimore's pitching plans as soon as next year.

Joseph Dzierwa is next at No. 69. He was a second-round pick in 2025 and broke out in the minors this year across two levels, posting a 2.27 ERA with 149 strikeouts in 26 games.

Caden Hunter lands at No .92. He is also a left-handed pitcher like Dzierwa. Both Hunter and Dzierwa are top-10 left-handed pitching prospects. Both pitchers are also expected to make their MLB debuts in 2027.

A sixth-round pick in 2025, Hunter pitched across three levels and finished with a 2.01 ERA and 151 strikeouts in 23 games.

Outfielders Ike Irish and Enddy Azocar both also landed in the Top 100. Irish was selected 19th overall in 2025. He hit .286 with a .388 on-base percentage and .916 OPS in 343 plate appearances at High-A Frederick.

Azocar was another piece Baltimore got back in the Rutschman trade. He has played well since joining the organization and is capable of playing all three outfield spots.

Mike Elias has drafted well and continued to build a strong foundation heading into 2027 and beyond. Baltimore still has a lot of work to do at the big-league level after finishing 79-82. Reinforcements are on the way though.
