Phillies Eyeing International Pitching Prospect

With the international signing period set to open on Jan. 15, the Philadelphia Phillies are already putting together a potential list of prospects they're looking to sign when the period opens, including Venezuelan Jose Romero.

With fellow Venezuela native Ranger Suarez's return to Philadelphia uncertain given he's reached the end of his contract, adding more prospects to bulk up a pitching staff that already rivals any other staff in the league is a good sign at the start of the offseason.
