Phillies to Hold Pitching Tryout in Japan

The Philadelphia Phillies are heading across the Pacific to scout out some top pitching talent in Japan. 

This is the third straight year the Phillies have been active in the Japanese player market, looking to find a more successful solution than their first attempt with Aoyagi Koyo, who the Phillies signed from the NPB before being released during the season.
