The Philadelphia Phillies could be in the mix to add an All-Star to their lineup.

The Philadelphia Phillies have an important offseason ahead to improve their roster after losing in the Wild Card Series to the Atlanta Braves.

The Phillies have some great pieces on their roster, including Bryce Harper and Kyle Schwarber, but it was clear their lineup could use more firepower.

ESPN named Philadelphia as a potential fit for three-time All-Star outfielder Randy Arozarena. Arozarena could be a great addition to the Phillies' lineup and help them contend over the next few seasons.

In 2026, he was an All-Star for the Seattle Mariners, slashing 281/.381/.484 with 26 home runs, 34 doubles, 26 stolen bases, 79 RBIs, 113 runs, and an .865 OPS. If Philadelphia can ink him to a deal, he would be a valuable piece in their lineup.

He has proven that he can hit for average, power, and steal bases, adding another element to their lineup. A lineup led by Arozarena, Harper, and Schwarber could be elite.

In the 2026 season, Harper had a strong season, particularly in the first half, earning an All-Star nod. He slashed .269/.380/.485 with 29 home runs, 32 doubles, 87 RBIs, 93 runs, and an .865 OPS.

Schwarber was also an All-Star, as he slashed .232/.354/.503 with 45 home runs, 20 doubles, 97 RBIs, 95 runs, and an .857 OPS.

The Phillies will also look for Trea Turner to have a bounce-back year in their lineup. Turner is in the fifth year of an 11-year, $300 million deal. The 33-year-old had a down year, slashing .242/.297/.378 with 19 home runs, 29 doubles, 21 stolen bases, 58 RBIs, 101 runs, and a .675 OPS.

Turner was much better in the 2025 season, slashing .304/.355/.457 with 15 home runs, 31 doubles, seven triples, 36 stolen bases, 69 RBIs, 94 runs, and an .812 OPS. Getting Turner back on track, mixed in with Harper and Schwarber and a potential signing of Arozarena, could make Philadelphia's lineup potent.

The Phillies already have a strong rotation with Zack Wheeler, Cristopher Sanchez, and Jesús Luzardo.

Wheeler started in 28 games, posting a 3.00 ERA with 193 strikeouts, 47 walks, and a 1.049 WHIP. Sanchez had an All-Star season, recording a 2.91 ERA with 231 strikeouts, 45 walks, and a 1.203 WHIP.

Luzardo was also an All-Star, posting a 2.86 ERA with 221 strikeouts, 52 walks, and a 1.074 WHIP. With this strong pitching staff in place, if Philadelphia can improve their lineup by adding a player of Arozarena's caliber, the Phillies have a great shot at making it to the World Series for the first time since the 2022 season.
