The Philadelphia Phillies have several All-Star candidates so far this season.

It’s that time of year again when fans, players, and the commissioner’s office decide who will be representing their respective leagues in the All-Star Game.

The Midsummer Classic is set to be extra special for the Philadelphia Phillies this season, considering their home ballpark is hosting the event. With baseball’s best players ready to come to Philadelphia this summer, there are several members of the Phillies own roster who should also be named All-Stars.

Kyle Schwarber

Kyle Schwarber remains one of baseball’s top offensive players and deserves to represent his team and city on the big stage. At one point earlier this season, Schwarber was on pace to hit over 60 home runs.

He has slowed down a little bit at the plate, but he still leads the National League in home runs by a wide margin. The Phillies designated hitter has already smoked 23 long balls, with the second-most being a three-way tie at 17. Schwarber’s .932 OPS is also tied for fourth in the league, too.

Considering that Schwarber is a designated hitter, his path to the All-Star Game isn’t an easy one, as he’s going up against Shohei Ohtani for his position, but the Phillies slugger’s stats still put him in a firm position to find his way onto the All-Star roster.

Bryce Harper

Whether Bryce Harper is having an elite season is up for debate, but he’s definitely putting together an All-Star caluber campaign so far.

Harper currently has a .279/.377/.535 slash line. His .912 OPS and 152 wRC+ rank second among National League first basemen, only trailing MIL’s Jake Bauers in each category.

However, Harper does have Bauers beat in terms of home runs. The Phillies slugger has already hit 14 homers, which is the second most in the National League.

Either way you look at it, Harper has been one of the top first basemen in the league this year and deserves an All-Star nod one way or another.

Brandon Marsh

Not many people likely expected Brandon Marsh to be an All-Star candidate coming into the 2026 season, but he’s definitely earned his right to be, and that conversation, and even a spot on the roster

Marsh is having a breakout year at the plate and has a .338 batting average that leads all of the National League, not just among outfielders. Combine that with his .895 OPS, which ranks ninth among his position group, and there’s no reason that Marsh should be left off the All-Star roster this season.
