The Texas Rangers are traveling to Houston for a three-game series against the Astros. The first game of the series will feature Jack Leiter against Jason Alexander. Here are the players to target in DFS for the Rangers.

    Pitcher Jack Leiter ($7,200):

Leiter is averaging 14.4 fantasy points on the season. In the first matchup this season against the Astros, Leiter pitched seven innings, allowing three runs on just three hits, while striking out four batters, and totaled 14.75 fantasy points. Back in July, Leiter finished with 16.6 fantasy points. He gave up just five hits, but allowed three runs and four walks. He also recorded six strikeouts. There are some advantages for Leiter against the Astros' lineup. Carlos Correa, Jose Altuve, and Mauricio Dubon had a combined 11 at-bats and tallied no hits against Leiter. To top off this three-game divisional series, the Astros hold just a two-game lead over the Rangers for second place in the American League West. This series could be a decider of who makes it into the Wild Card game. The Rangers will need their starting pitcher to have success for them to win on the road. He is a good option in Monday's slate.

    Outfielder Joc Pederson ($2,700):

Pederson has only faced Jason Alexander twice in his career, but notched a double and run batted in. At just $2,700, Pederson is a great value pick, and although he has struggled, batting just .177 on the season, he should be able to get on base against Alexander.

    Outfielder Adolis Garcia ($4,300):

Garcia has not faced Alexander; however, he has been in-form the past seven out of 10 games. In that stretch, Garcia has garnered 14 hits, two home-runs, nine runs batted in, and ten runs. Garcia has a better batting average against right-handed pitchers this season than left-handed pitchers, hence making him an interesting option against Alexander and the Astros.

    Outfielder Wyatt Langford ($4,500):

Langford has not faced Alexander in the past, either, but he tends to do better on the road than at home. He is averaging 8.3 fantasy points on the season, but has games where he excels with double-digit points. Back in July, Langford had one of those games, where he finished with four hits, one home-run, and two runs batted in. With a batting average of .255 on the road, he should be on the radar of daily fantasy players.
