The Texas Rangers are all but eliminated from the playoffs, dropping another game against the Marlins at home. On Sunday, Merrill Kelly will take the mound against Eury Perez, as the Rangers will look to avoid the sweep. Perez has only faced Jake Burger (twice), striking him out twice. He faced Rowdy Tellez once, and Tellez was able to get a run batted in off Perez. So we don't have a ton of data in terms of the specific matchup to go off of, but we will use other factors to see who should be in DFS lineups from the Rangers lineup for Sunday's slate.

Here is who to target from the Rangers:

    Starting Pitcher Merrill Kelly ($8,700):

Merrill Kelly has struggled as of late, so you might be thinking why should he be in the starting pitcher slot for Sunday's slate. He is a better pitcher at home than on the road, facing a team that he is familiar with, when he was with the Diamondbacks. In 11 innings pitched, Kelly had a total of 16 strikeouts, giving up four earned runs, and walking just two batters. Sunday's slate lacks ace pitchers, so we would shift gears to matchups, and at home, Kelly is worth the start.

    First Baseman Rowdy Tellez ($2,600):

That price is too low for Tellez. He will remain a value pick as long as his price remains the same and he is facing a right-handed pitcher. In the past seven games, Tellez has notched seven hits, one home-run, and four runs batted in. Against right-handed batters, Tellez has been able to manage a .247 average. Thus far in September, he has a whopping .320 batting average, which is encouraging for those who are looking for a value pick at first base, to bolster the rest of their lineup.

    Outfielder Joc Pederson ($3,000):

In the past six games, Pederson has notched six hits, two runs batted in, while drawing four walks. Pederson struggled to start this season, but picked it up in August, batting .286, in September he has gone 9-for-43; however, six of those nine hits have come in the past week. So at that price point, it is worth riding the hot hand, against a right-handed pitcher for Pederson. The first two games of the series against the Marlins, Pederson has been able to garner two hits, two rins, while drawing two walks. His success of getting on base should continue against Perez and the Marlins bullpen on Sunday.
