The Texas Rangers will be back in action for game two of their series with the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday at 7:05 p.m. CST.
After a disappointing 4-2 loss on Monday night, the Texas Rangers will be back in action for game two of their series with the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday night. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. CST.
Tuesday night will be Dallas Cowboys Night at the ballpark. Fans can purchase a special theme night ticket on the Rangers website and receive a co-branded, Cowboys/Rangers short-sleeved hoodie.
Additionally, Cowboys rookie safety and 11th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft Caleb Downs will be on hand to throw out the first pitch.
Popular British comedy, prank, and entertainment duo Woody & Kleiny will also be throwing out a first pitch as they will be at the ballpark ahead of England’s World Cup showdown with Croatia at Dallas Staduim on Wednesday.
The Rangers' Tuesday showdown with the Twins will also be a Family Fun Tuesday, presented by Coca-Cola. Families can enjoy discounts on ticket prices, parking, food, and drink through the Rangers' official website.
Kids aged 13-and-younger can meet select Rangers players at pre-game autograph sessions, presented by Golden Chick. Autograph signing starts at 5:30 p.m., but guests are encouraged to line up as soon as the gates open. The number of autographs is limited.
Fans not planning on heading out to Globe Life Field can catch all the action on Rangers Sports Network and on 105.3 The Fan on the radio side.
As for the action on the field, Kumar Rocker will toe the rubber for the Rangers, making his 14th appearance (13th start) of the season. The Rangers' young righty enters play with a 2-5 record and 3.56 ERA on the season.
In his last start against the Kansas City Royals, Rocker allowed just two earned runs in 4.2 innings of work in an eventual 4-2 Rangers win.
Offensively, the Rangers will be tasked with facing Twins right-hander Zebby Matthews. Through six games this season, Matthews has a 2-5 record with a 5.20 ERA. In his last three starts, Matthews has allowed 16 earned runs.
Entering play on Tuesday, the Rangers sit at 35-37, just 1.5 games back of first place in the American League West and a game back of the final AL Wild Card spot.
Texas has, however, lost three of its last four games since picking up a series win in Kansas City last week. With a loss on Tuesday, the Rangers would pick up their second straight series loss.
