On Wednesday, the Texas Rangers will look to keep the good times rolling as they go for win No. 6 in a row and a sweep of the St. Louis Cardinals.
The Texas Rangers have been absolutely rolling as of late. Texas has won five straight games for the first time this season and has scored 31 runs in that span.
Additionally, the Rangers' starting pitching has been lights out through the winning streak, allowing just four runs, all of which came against Nathan Eovaldi in Tuesday night’s 7-4 win.
On Wednesday, the Rangers will look to keep the good times rolling as they go for win No. 6 and a sweep of the St. Louis Cardinals.

MacKenzie Gore takes the mound for the Rangers, looking to build off a strong start in his last outing, in which he fired 6.1 innings of shutout baseball on Friday night at Globe Life Field to help the Rangers start their winning streak.
Gore enters play with a 4-4 record and a 3.96 ERA on the season. In his last three full starts, the Rangers' young lefty has allowed just two earned runs.
Offensively, the Rangers will face Cardinals righty Andre Pallante, who enters play with a 5-4 record and a 4.19 ERA on the season.
With a win on Wednesday, the Rangers will return to .500 with a 31-31 record. Texas also enters play in sole possession of the American League’s final Wild Card spot and just 2.5 games out of first place in the AL West.
Obviously, there’s not much stock being put into the standings as we sit in early June, but the Rangers are certainly right in the thick of the race despite their up-and-down start.
Texas will also be getting Corey Seager and Wyatt Langford back sooner rather than later, providing a huge boost to a lineup that is already swinging the bats well.
Seager and Langford’s return amidst the team’s hot stretch at the plate will allow manager Skip Schumaker to lengthen the lineup each night.
After Wednesday night’s game, the Rangers will have an off day on Thursday before returning to Globe Life Field to take on the red-hot Cleveland Guardians in a brief three-game homestand.
Cleveland enters play on Wednesday atop the AL Central with a 35-27 record, so the Rangers' run of hot play will certainly be put to the test.
