Texas Rangers baseball is never officially back until we get a look at the new food items that fans will get to try at Globe Life Field.
On Thursday morning, members of the media gathered at the home of the Rangers to check out some of the new food debuting during the 2026 season.
The Rangers unveiled several new menu items for fans to check out at Globe Life Field. Here are some of the highlights.
A Texas Ribeye Sandwich will be available for fans in Section 106. The sandwich features a grilled Nolan Ryan beef Ribeye steak topped with chimichurri, sliced tomato, and fresh arugula on a soft roll, served with French fries.
Nacho lovers will get an upgrade to their experience at the ballpark this year as the team unveiled the new “High Steaks Nachos,” which feature crispy tortilla chips topped with white queso, chopped Nolan Ryan Beef tenderloin, pico de gallo, salsa, and sour cream.
Perhaps the most interesting new menu item was the “Hawwt Dawwg Biscuits & Gravy”, a double-battered and deep-fried Texas chilli jumbo all-Angus beef hot dog served on a split buttermilk biscuit and smothered in country gravy. Available at Go Deep Fried (Sections 24,255, and 230).
Other fun items include a Texas Tenderloin Sandwich, a Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Pork Wings, and an Elote Dawwg.
The item that went the most viral was the “9th Inning Rally Sombrero," a Texas-sized nine-layer dip served inside a 26-inch fried tortilla shell, filled with refried beans, cheddar cheese, sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, black olives, jalapenos, and shredded lettuce served with tortilla chips.
Also at the media event, the Rangers unveiled a brand new exhibit honoring the first playoff team in franchise history.
The 1996 Rangers team won the American League West Division and won the first-ever playoff game in the club's history.
This year actually marks the 30th anniversary of the team. The Rangers are planning a weekend to honor the team with in-ballpark activities later this season.
Rangers historian and longtime head of public relations John Blake joined former Rangers outfielder Rusty Greer and former Rangers pitcher John Burkett, who were both on hand as well, and unveiled one of the two glass cases.
Each of the cases features artifacts from the 1996 team, including game-worn jerseys and other fun items.
The Rangers' 2026 home opener will take place on Friday as part of the team’s first homestand of the season.
