If Texas wants to have an offensive resurgence, Seager has to be Seager, and there’s no doubt he can be amongst the best players in all of baseball when healthy.

Oftentimes, when it comes to great players, the only thing that can get in between them and greatness is health.

Corey Seager is certainly one of those players.

In 2025, Seager was limited to just 102 games, hitting .271 with a 3.73 OBP, and a .487 SLG with 21 home runs and 50 RBI.

2025 marked Seager’s first season in four years with the Rangers, in which he was not named an all-star and did not hit at least 30 home runs.

As focus shifts to 2026, Seager will once again be the focal point in the Rangers offense.

If Texas wants to have an offensive resurgence, Seager has to be Seager, and there’s no doubt he can be amongst the best players in all of baseball when healthy.

Not only does first-year manager Skip Schumaker have a great bat to plug in his lineup, but Seager’s defense has been solid since he got to Texas.

Offensively, Seager’s presence in the lineup alone should help unlock some of the hitters around him.

As is always the case with Seager, a full season of health could certainly lead to a pretty special season, and that is exactly what the Rangers are hoping for.
