The Tampa Bay Rays face elimination against the Milwaukee Brewers in World Series Game 5. Kevin Cash turns to Drew Rasmussen on short rest and makes lineup changes featuring Ben Williamson and Ryan Vilade as Tampa Bay looks to extend its season against Brewers ace Jacob Misiorowski.

The Tampa Bay Rays are facing elimination once again as they prepare for Game 5 of the World Series against the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday night.

After keeping their season alive with a dramatic 4-3 victory in Game 4, Tampa Bay will look to extend the series for another game against Milwaukee ace Jacob Misiorowski.

However, Kevin Cash has made several interesting decisions with his starting lineup, including changes to the bottom of the batting order and another opportunity for one of Tampa Bay's most important pitchers.

Here are three decisions that stand out heading into Wednesday's contest.

Starting Pitcher: Drew Rasmussen – RHP

Drew Rasmussen Gets Another Opportunity

Perhaps the biggest decision is Cash turning to Drew Rasmussen as his starting pitcher.

The right-hander struggled in Game 2, allowing three earned runs across just 3.2 innings despite Tampa Bay jumping out to an early four-run advantage.

Unfortunately, Rasmussen couldn't pitch deep enough into the contest, forcing Cash to rely on his bullpen earlier than expected.

Now he'll get another opportunity against Milwaukee on short rest.

And considering how heavily Tampa Bay relied on its relievers during Tuesday's 12-inning victory, the Rays desperately need Rasmussen to provide a considerably better performance.

Ben Williamson Gets the Start

After delivering the biggest hit of Tampa Bay's season Tuesday night, Ben Williamson will get an opportunity to contribute from the starting lineup.

Williamson delivered the walk-off RBI single in the 12th inning of Game 4, preventing Milwaukee from completing a World Series sweep.

Now he'll start at second base and bat seventh.

It's an interesting decision considering how much Tampa Bay has struggled to generate consistent production from the bottom of its lineup.

And while Williamson isn't necessarily known for his offensive production, his ability to put the ball in play could become important against Misiorowski.

Ryan Vilade Gets Opportunity Against Misiorowski

Another interesting decision is Cash going with Ryan Vilade in right field.

Vilade will bat eighth, giving Tampa Bay another right-handed hitter against Milwaukee's right-handed starter.

The decision also means Victor Mesa Jr. and Richie Palacios won't be in Wednesday's starting lineup.

And considering the offensive struggles Tampa Bay has experienced throughout the World Series, I think it's understandable that Cash is looking for additional production.

However, Misiorowski presents a difficult challenge.

The Brewers' ace enters Wednesday's contest with a 16-5 record and 1.80 ERA.

Tampa Bay has already struggled against Milwaukee's pitching throughout the series, making every scoring opportunity important.

And with the Rays trailing 3-1 in the World Series, these decisions could play a significant role in determining whether Tampa Bay gets another opportunity to return to Milwaukee.

First pitch is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET at Tropicana Field.
