Former Boston Red Sox manager following through on spring training promise

The Boston Red Sox are in the midst of a disappointing season and are currently in the cellar of the American League East.

As part of the disappointing season, Boston opted to fire manager Alex Cora as well as several other members of the coaching staff.

Despite not longer being with the club, Cora plans on fulfilling a spring training promise he made in which he'll donate $20,000 to a charity if a Red Sox player hits 20 home runs.
