Week 3 of action is in the books down in the Arizona Fall League, where eight Boston Red Sox prospects are playing alongside prospects from the Angels, Athletics, Blue Jays, and Cubs systems as members of the Mesa Solar Sox. After two weather-affected games in the second week of play, Mesa had a more normal week, playing five games.
Not much has changed for Mesa in the standings after the third week of action, with a 2-3 record in their five contests. They sit in fifth place out of six teams with a 6-9 record.
Here’s what you need to know about how the Red Sox prospects performed at the plate over the last week:
Antonio Anderson
Anderson has been one of the Arizona Fall League's standouts through three weeks of play. The former third-round pick of Boston in the 2023 MLB Draft continued his strong play in Arizona, appearing in three of Mesa's five games at first base and serving as the designated hitter. In those five games, Anderson went 3-for-10 with a triple, one RBI, three walks, and one strikeout.
In 11 games in the fall, Anderson is hitting .333/.480/.615/1.095 with three doubles, two home runs, one triple, and 10 RBI, scoring nine runs. The 21-year-old ranks in the top 15 among all hitters in the league in batting average (13th), on-base percentage (12th), slugging percentage (10th), and OPS (7th).
Anderson appeared in 85 games with the High-A Greenville Drive. The 21-year-old corner infielder hit .273/.373/.453/.826 with nine home runs, 17 doubles, and 46 RBI.
Mason White
The 23-year-old infielder is the highest-rated prospect the Red Sox sent to Arizona, checking in at No. 27 on SoxProspects.com's organizational top 60. White has not had a great start to the fall, and in the third week of play, it was more of the same. In three games for Mesa, White went 2-for-9 at the plate, drove in one run, walked twice, and struck out once.
In 11 games, White is hitting just .184/.347/.263/.610, with only one extra-base hit, a home run, and three RBI. The Red Sox selected White in the fourth round of the 2025 MLB Draft out of the University of Arizona. In 101 games with High-A Greenville and Double-A Portland, White hit .251/.353/.480/.833, with 18 home runs, 18 doubles, and 55 runs driven in.
Nazzan Zannetello
After injuries limited him to only 31 games during the minor league season, it's been rough sledding in fall league action for the 21-year-old infielder. The former second-round pick in the 2023 MLB Draft appeared in three games for Mesa, going 2-for-7, scoring two runs, walking three times, and striking out three times.
In 11 games played, Zannetello is hitting .171/.356/.314/.670 with one home run, one triple, driving in four runs with three steals in four attempts. In 31 games for Greenville in 2026, Zannetello hit .234/.331/.468/.799 with six home runs, six doubles, and 13 RBI.
The Solar Sox will be back in action on Monday afternoon taking on the Glendale Desert Dogs.
