Hurdle provided years of service to Rockies

While Clint Hurdle will be leaving the Colorado Rockies' organization at the end of October, his imprint on its future will be lasting.

Hurdle not only managed the ballclub, but remained close to those players who are coming up through the ranks.

The franchise has been looking to improve a lot. That's especially in the light of four straight 100-plus-loss seasons.

Hurdle will now watch from whatever he'll do in his future to see the Rockies show improvements thanks to his insights and coaching.
