The St. Louis Cardinals will play the Washington Nationals Saturday at 1:05 p.m. ET at the Nationals' spring training home, The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches in West Palm Beach, Florida.

24-year-old Connor Thomas will take the mound for the Cardinals, making his second appearance of the spring. Thomas allowed two runs off five hits and a walk over two innings in his first appearance on Monday. Thomas has yet to make his Major League debut.

Gray pitched his first full big league season as a starting pitcher in 2022, clocking a 5.02 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 78 ERA+ over 28 starts and 148.2 innings pitched.
