Detroit Tigers left-hander Tarik Skubal captured his second straight American League Cy Young Award on Wednesday night, leading the league in ERA and strikeouts. Here's how the vote went, plus a great list of AL Cy Young winners since 2000.

Tarik Skubal did it again. He won the American League Cy Young on Wednesday for the second straight season. He got 26 of the 30 first-place vote, with Boston's Garrett Crochet getting the other four

Skubal pitched 195⅓ innings and posted  13-6 with a 2.21 earned run average and 241 strikeouts. He led the AL in Baseball-Reference WAR (6.5) and FanGraphs WAR (6.6) while also leading qualified pitchers in ERA, strikeout rate (32.2%), lowest walk rate (4.4%), OBP allowed (.240) and OPS allowed (.559).
