Murakami vs. Anthony Kay

Fun fact about new White Sox 1B Munetaka Murakami. 

Over the last two seasons in Japan, he actually faced off with recently signed LHP Anthony Kay. Both played in the Central League of Nippon Professional Baseball. 

From 2024-2025, Murakami faced Kay in seven official NPB games, slashing .400/.526/.467 over 15 ABs.

So there's already precedent of his success against MLB arms!
