Per ESPN's Jeff Passan, the Sox are trading Luis Robert Jr. to the Mets. In return, Chicago is getting IF Luisangel Acuña and RHP Truman Pauley.

Acuña will turn 24 in March and hit .234 last season for the Mets, his second year in the Majors. Pauley just turned 22 and started three games in Single-A last season, logging an ERA of 2.08 over 4.1 innings.

Thoughts on the trade? It's gonna be tough to see Robert go, but the writing has been on the wall for a while.
