Tyler Gilbert is the corresponding move for Bryan Hudson. He's being sent down to AAA prior to Saturday's game in Milwaukee.

I'm not all that torn up about Gilbert no longer being on the team. I'm not sure he is deserving at this point, but I have to say I'm not sure this move makes much sense when you zoom out.

The White Sox burned a minor league option for Brandon Eisert, let Ryan Borucki go to the San Francisco Giants, and are now using the final option for Tyler Gilbert just one day into the regular season, all to bring back Hudson, a guy who was the odd man out and was cut from the team six weeks ago.
