I know Brooks Baldwin is a somewhat polarizing figure for White Sox fans, but I was really looking forward to seeing what he'd do in 2026 after the strong second half of 2025 he had. And Sunday afternoon's game is another example of how the White Sox are really missing him this season.

Not only did Baldwin have a home run against Mason Miller in his career, but having a switch hitter with good speed and pop able to come off the bench and have defensive versatility is invaluable.

Instead, you put yourself in a position to have Luisangel Acuña hitting with the game on the line. The White Sox bench is really bad this year, and a healthy Baldwin would help improve the organizational depth.
