Home Runs Lift Yankees Past Cubs

The New York Yankees only needed two runs to defeat the Chicago Cubs 2-0 on Friday afternoon at Wrigley Field in Chicago.

Both runs came by home runs. Amed Rosario hit his 10th home run this season in the fourth inning, and Spencer Jones connected for his fourth homer this season, too.

Shota Imanega of Chicago absorbed the loss, falling to 7-9 with a 3.67 ERA.

The Yankees remain in second place in the American League East Division.
