The New York Yankees welcomed back Aaron Judge on Tuesday, a very exciting moment for an organization that can use all the help it can get at the moment. As the Yankees continue to try to make this American League East push, now four games behind the Tampa Bay Rays with just a couple of weeks left to play, every single game matters.

The Yankees also have a really good chance over the next couple of days, as they'll take on the Colorado Rockies, New York Mets, and Minnesota Twins. Some of those games could get interesting, but ultimately, the Yankees should be the best team in all of those.

Getting Judge back was the bigger priority, though. While he went 0-for-3, it's great to see him back on the field. Judge is hopeful he'll continue to be the same guy we know, though it does sound like there could be some bumps in the road.

Speaking to reporters about what his plan is, while Aaron Boone admitted that Judge in the lineup is a big plus, he also added that there will be some days when he needs a day off. That included Tuesday when he didn't play the whole game.

“I think it's real. His presence is very real,” Boone said pregame, per MLB.com. “Obviously, you know what he means to those guys, not only as a player but as a person in that room, as a captain -- I think everyone’s excited. … It’s been a long time coming, and I know he’s been champing at the bit here the last few days.”

“He won’t play the whole game today, even though he wants to,” Boone said. “I’m going to be mindful of that, especially this first week. He’ll probably have one of the days this series off. We’ll adjust each night on what we see.”

I'm honestly not too worried about Judge not playing every single game over the next couple of weeks.

The bigger priority here is getting to the postseason healthy, even if it doesn't result in the Yankees winning the division. Of course, winning the division would be a bigger priority, but the Yankees just need to make the playoffs and go from there if they're healthy.
