The Philadelphia 76ers (35-30) will look to pick up a second consecutive victory on Thursday night against the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference, the Detroit Pistons (46-18).
Philadelphia got a much-needed win on Tuesday against the shorthanded Memphis Grizzlies, 139-129. Guards Cam Payne, V.J. Edgecombe, and Quentin Grimes as well as forward Kelly Oubre Jr. led the charge for the Sixers against Memphis. Prior to that victory, they had fallen short in four of their last five matchups.
Meanwhile, the Pistons snapped their four-game losing streak on Tuesday against the Brooklyn Nets in a blowout, 138-100 win. Detroit had been defeated by the Cleveland Cavaliers, San Antonio Spurs, Nets, and Miami Heat before that dominant win.
Here is the injury report for 76ers-Pistons:
76ERS

Bona and Oubre are new additions to the injury report for Philadelphia.
Bona played just 16 minutes against the Grizzlies, recording four points and three rebounds on 2 of 3 shooting. Bona and Andre Drummond were the only available centers versus Memphis, but with the former's status in question, coach Nick Nurse may be forced to turn to the latter.
Losing Oubre for this matchup is huge. According to Adam Aaronson, "Kelly Oubre Jr. is out for at least two weeks due to a LCL sprain in his left elbow." He shined against the Grizzlies, tallying 30 points and 12 rebounds on 41.7% shooting in 38 minutes of action.
The Sixers are without four of their five usual starters in Maxey, Oubre, George, and Embiid, meaning this could very well end up being a blowout loss for Philadelphia.
Edgecombe, Grimes, and others will need to thrive against Detroit for the 76ers to have any shot of emerging victorious.
