The full injury report for Monday's game between the Philadelphia 76ers and Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Philadelphia 76ers (39-32) are squaring off against the reigning champion Oklahoma City Thunder (56-15) on Monday night at 7 PM ET in Philadelphia.
The 76ers have won four of their last five games despite being without their 'Big Three' of Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and Paul George. Philadelphia has taken down the Brooklyn Nets, Portland Trail Blazers, Sacramento Kings, and Utah Jazz while falling short against the Denver Nuggets.
Meanwhile, Oklahoma City has been on a tear, winning its last 11 games. Some of the Thunder's notable victories in that stretch have come over the Denver Nuggets twice, the Boston Celtics, and the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Here is the injury report for 76ers-Thunder:
76ERS
Dominick Barlow: Doubtful - Left Ankle; Sprain
Johni Broome: Out - Right Knee; Surgery Recovery
Joel Embiid: Out - Right Oblique; Strain
Paul George: Out - League Suspension
Tyrese Maxey: Out - Right Finger; Tendon Strain
Kelly Oubre Jr.: Out - Left Elbow; Sprain
THUNDER
Ajay Mitchell: Out - League Suspension
Payton Sandfort: Out - G League; Two-Way
Thomas Sorber: Out - Right ACL; Surgical Recovery
Nikola Topic: Out - G League; On Assignment
The 76ers cannot catch a break. Not only is Embiid set to miss his 13th consecutive game, but it appears they'll be without yet another starter against the Thunder in Barlow. He suffered an ankle sprain early in the game against the Jazz, recording just four minutes of action.
The one piece of positive news is this is the final game of George's suspension, as he is set to return on March 25 against the Chicago Bulls. He is averaging 16.0 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 3.7 assists this season, so having him come back will be major for the 76ers' playoff push.
Philadelphia also lucks out with Mitchell's one-game suspension. He is suspended for an altercation that took place in the Thunder's game versus the Washington Wizards.
However, Oklahoma City is getting back star forward Jalen Williams, who has missed more than the last five weeks due to a right hamstring strain. This is a major addition for the Thunder and only makes the 76ers' chances of emerging victorious slimmer.
