The full injury report for Game 1 of Philadelphia 76ers vs. Boston Celtics.

The Philadelphia 76ers (45-37) are taking on the Boston Celtics (56-26) in the first round of the NBA Playoffs, with Game 1 taking place Sunday at 1 PM ET in TD Garden.

The 76ers fought to earn a trip to the postseason by defeating the No. 8 seed Orlando Magic in the Play-In Tournament. All-Star guard Tyrese Maxey led the charge in that matchup with 31 points and six assists on 44% shooting and 3 of 9 shooting from three-point range in 42 minutes. V.J. Edgecombe, Kelly Oubre Jr., Paul George, and Andre Drummond also had strong performances against the Magic.

Meanwhile, the Celtics are well rested entering this series. They finished the regular season on a high note with their role players taking down the Magic, 113-108. Prior to that, they won eight of their last 10 games.

Here is the injury report for Game 1 of 76ers-Celtics:

76ERS

Joel Embiid: Out - Post Appendectomy; Surgery Recovery

Tyrese Maxey: Available - Right Finger; Tendon Strain - Splint

CELTICS

No Injuries to Report

Johni Broome is no longer on the injury report.

Here's a look at key matchups for Game 1:

Paul George vs. Jayson Tatum

It's tough to say whether George will be given the assignment of guarding Brown or Tatum, but it will be significant regardless. George's defense on the perimeter as well as his leadership on that end of the floor have been crucial all season long. Now is the time for him to step up defensively and attempt to shut down one of the NBA's most talented players.

Neemias Queta vs. Andre Drummond and Adem Bona

Last time the 76ers faced the Celtics without Joel Embiid, Queta dominated, recording 27 points and 17 rebounds on 71% shooting. Philadelphia coach Nick Nurse will likely favor one big man or the other in this series until/if Embiid returns, so he needs to roll with the one who does a better job limiting Queta on the glass.
