The injury report for Friday's game between the Philadelphia 76ers and Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Philadelphia 76ers (42-34) have a tough matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves (46-29) on Friday night at 7 PM ET in Xfinity Mobile Arena.

Philadelphia is coming off a dominant 22-point victory over the Washington Wizards in which star forward Paul George led the charge. He finished with 39 points, six assists, five rebounds, and three steals on 68.2% shooting and 6 of 12 shooting from three-point range in 30 minutes.

Prior to the win against the Wizards, the 76ers fell short against the Miami Heat despite the roster being at full strength.

Meanwhile, the Timberwolves are set to face off against the Detroit Pistons (55-21) on Thursday evening. When Minnesota went up versus the Pistons on March 28, they were blown out 109-87.

Here is the injury report for 76ers-Timberwolves:

76ERS

Johni Broome: Out - Right Knee; Surgery Recovery

Joel Embiid: Doubtful - Illness

Tyrese Maxey: Available - Right Finger; Tendon Strain - Splint

TIMBERWOLVES

The 76ers' chances of emerging victorious without Embiid in the mix are slim unless George, Maxey, and V.J. Edgecombe have phenomenal outings. Embiid missed Wednesday's game against the Wizards due to illness as well.

When on the floor, he continues to thrive, as he recorded 26 points and seven rebounds in Monday's loss to the Heat.

The seven-time All-Star center first shared his symptoms after Monday's matchup versus the Miami Heat, saying, "Well, first, I wish I wasn't sick. So, maybe that would have helped to play better. So, physically, I just was not in it, and then secondly, obviously, if the first part was better, then I guess I would have had more energy to do all the things. So yeah, just gotta take off myself and get out of it and play better."

It's worth mentioning superstar Anthony Edwards is questionable for Thursday's matchup against the Pistons while forward Jaden McDaniels is out. If Edwards and McDaniels are unable to suit up versus Philadelphia, the 76ers may have a real shot.
