The full injury report for Wednesday's game between the Philadelphia 76ers and Utah Jazz

The Philadelphia 76ers (33-28) are looking to get back in the win column on Wednesday night against the Utah Jazz (18-43).

Philadelphia has suffered two consecutive double-digit losses against the Boston Celtics and San Antonio Spurs without Joel Embiid in the lineup. They were overwhelmed by Jaylen Brown and Neemias Queta against Boston, as the two combined for 54 points. It was a team effort from San Antonio that led to the 40-point blowout.

Meanwhile, the Jazz have lost six straight games, falling to the Portland Trail Blazers, Memphis Grizzlies, Houston Rockets, New Orleans Pelicans (twice), and Denver Nuggets.

Here is the full injury report for 76ers-Jazz:

76ERS

Johni Broome: Out - Right Knee; Surgery Recovery

VJ Edgecombe: Out - Lumbar; Contusion

Joel Embiid: Out - Right Oblique; Strain

Paul George: Out - League Suspension

Kelly Oubre Jr.: Out - Illness

JAZZ

Jaren Jackson Jr.: Out - Left Knee; Injury Recovery

Walker Kessler: Out - Left Shoulder; Injury Recovery

Lauri Markkanen: Out - Right Hip; Impingement

Jusuf Nurkic: Out - Nose; Injury Recovery

Vince Williams Jr.: Out - Left Knee; Injury Management

Per Kyle Neubeck: "VJ Edgecombe suffered a lumbar contusion in the second quarter of last night’s game against San Antonio. Edgecombe is out for tonight’s game against Utah and will be reevaluated ahead of the team’s next game at Atlanta."

Edgecombe was ruled out for the remainder of the game at halftime against the Spurs due to lower back soreness. He took a hard fall on a foul by Spurs forward Carter Bryant just seconds before halftime.

This would be the perfect game for Embiid to return and find a rhythm, as Utah's frontcourt is depleted. Unfortunately, Sixers fans will have to hold out a bit longer for his return.

With four of Philadelphia's five usual starters sidelined, this game becomes much more difficult for the 76ers. Tyrese Maxey will need to play superhero yet again if they want to emerge victorious versus the Jazz.
