A preview of Tuesday's game between the Philadelphia 76ers and San Antonio Spurs.

The Philadelphia 76ers (33-27) will look to pull off an upset against Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs (43-17) on Tuesday night at 8 PM ET in Xfinity Mobile Arena.

How Both Teams Enter Tuesday

The 76ers are entering this game coming off a 16-point defeat to the Boston Celtics on Sunday. The backcourt duo of Tyrese Maxey and V.J. Edgecombe did all they could, but Philadelphia failed to keep up with the Celtics in the final quarter.

Prior to that loss, the Sixers won three consecutive matchups over the Minnesota Timberwolves, Indiana Pacers, and Miami Heat. However, before that span, they came up short in four straight games.

It's safe to say coming out of the All-Star break, it's been quite an up-and-down stretch for Philadelphia.

San Antonio has been on a tear, winning 10 of their last 11 games. In that span, nine of the 10 victories came by double-digits.

However, they are coming off a 25-point blowout loss to the New York Knicks on Sunday, where Wembanyama finished as their leading scorer with 25 points to go along with 13 rebounds and four blocks. It was a team effort from New York that led to the win, as it had six double-digit scorers against the Spurs.

Key To Success

Philadelphia: The 76ers need to follow the Knicks' blueprint to victory, which means everyone needs to be on point. Tyrese Maxey and Kelly Oubre Jr. need to be more efficient than they were against Boston, along with Quentin Grimes stepping up in the second unit.

San Antonio: Take full advantage of the 76ers missing both of their veteran stars. Wembanyama could be in for a huge night like Celtics center Neemias Queta just had against Philadelphia.
