The Philadelphia 76ers (38-32) are taking on the Utah Jazz (21-49) on Saturday evening at 9:30 PM ET.
Philadelphia has won three of its last four games, with victories coming over the Brooklyn Nets, Portland Trail Blazers, and Sacramento Kings. The 76ers' lone defeat in that stretch was a blowout loss to the Denver Nuggets.
Meanwhile, the Jazz have fallen short in four of their last five matchups, with losses coming against the New York Knicks, Portland Trail Blazers, Sacramento Kings, and Minnesota Timberwolves. They were, however, able to comfortably emerge victorious in a game versus the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday.
Here is the injury report for 76ers-Jazz:
76ERS
Johni Broome: Out - Right Knee; Surgery Recovery
Joel Embiid: Out - Right Oblique; Strain
Paul George: Out - League Suspension
Tyrese Maxey: Out - Right Finger; Tendon Strain
Kelly Oubre Jr.: Out - Left Elbow; Sprain
JAZZ
Isaiah Collier: Out - Left Hamstring; Soreness
Keyonte George: Out - Right Hamstring; Strain
Jaren Jackson Jr.: Out - Left Knee; Injury Recovery
Walker Kessler: Out - Left Shoulder; Injury Recovery
John Konchar: Questionable - Right Quad; Contusion
Lauri Markkanen: Out - Right Hip; Impingement
Jusuf Nurkic: Out - Nose; Injury Recovery
Brice Sensabaugh: Out - Illness
There was a glimmer of hope that Embiid's status would be upgraded for this matchup, but instead, he's once again listed as out. He has not played for nearly a month.
George is getting incredibly close to returning to the floor, as he is able to come back on March 25 against the Chicago Bulls.
The hope is the 76ers will be able to walk out with a win relatively easily, as Utah is missing a significant number of its rotation players. George, Jackson, and Markkanen are seen as the Jazz's consensus top players but are all sidelined against Philadelphia.
Philadelphia needs to do everything in their power to get a win against Utah, as its next matchup is against the reigning champion Oklahoma City Thunder.
