PF: LeBron James, Dean Wade, Dominick Barlow
C: Joel Embiid, Adem Bona, Ariel Hukporti, Johni Broome
To answer the previous question, this lineup can match up against the best the NBA has to offer. Whether it's the defending champion New York Knicks, San Antonio Spurs, or another contender, Philadelphia has the talent to take down them all, especially with that starting five healthy.
The blend of offensive skill, defensive prowess, athleticism, and more is simply unmatched.
Maxey is coming off an All-NBA campaign in which he averaged 28.3 points and 6.6 assists on 46.2% shooting in 70 games. His mixture of speed, ability to pressure downhill, and improving defense will contribute to the loaded 76ers lineup.
Edgecombe appears destined to have a stellar sophomore campaign even with the abundance of mouths to feed on the roster. Sure, his statistics may not see a major leap with the additions of Brown and James, but he's still essential to their success.
Brown is one of two new superstars that are calling Philadelphia home. He is arguably the most reliable piece of this roster given his two-way abilities. There were concerns about how he would mesh with the rest of the Sixers' core, but the signing of James should ease those worries.
James was the missing piece of the puzzle. His playmaking and veteran leadership will be utilized more than ever before. Philadelphia fans are undoubtedly rejoicing that the 41-year-old chose the 76ers over teams such as the Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat.
Having Embiid is turning into a luxury. He is the most talented player on the roster, but may not even be needed during the regular season. Still, he is key to helping this star-studded group win a championship when the postseason rolls around.
It's clear the only team standing in the way of the 76ers is themselves.
