A trade sending out Joel Embiid would completely reshape the Philadelphia 76ers' roster.

Trading Joel Embiid would not only drastically reshape the Philadelphia 76ers' roster, but it would also mark the end of an era.

The 'Trust the Process' era has existed in Philadelphia for more than a decade now, with Embiid as the 'poster child' of it. Fast forward to present day, and it feels more logical to begin building around the young backcourt of Tyrese Maxey and V.J. Edgecombe.

A blockbuster NBA trade idea from FanSided would bring the Sixers closer to doing so, as the proposal sees Embiid head to the Milwaukee Bucks in exchange for Myles Turner and Kyle Kuzma.

The 76ers may be sending out more talent than they're getting back, but that's not necessarily a negative.

Turner is a respectable starting center who averaged 11.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks on 44.0% shooting and 38.3% shooting from three-point range in 71 games for the Bucks last season. He is by no means as talented as Embiid but could keep Philadelphia's center rotation afloat while allowing Maxey, Edgecombe, and Jaylen Brown to carry the bulk of offensive production.

Kuzma is largely included to match Embiid's salary. He is entering the final season of a four-year, $90 million contract, so the front office could get his money off the books quite quickly. Still, he could contribute to the rotation next season as a player with experience on the biggest stage and a solid shooting touch.

But why would the Bucks agree to this deal?

Without the involvement of draft capital or a youthful player, it's hard to imagine Milwaukee holding interest in Embiid. Unless the organization is desperate to sell tickets and have an All-Star-caliber player under contract.

The reality is this is one of the more realistic Embiid hypotheticals out there. The 76ers can smoothly transition out of the era led by him while the Bucks would likely land some intriguing draft capital and a potential franchise cornertstone.
