The Philadelphia 76ers' biggest weakness is the same as it's been for years.

The Philadelphia 76ers' (35-30) Thursday night matchup against the Detroit Pistons (46-18) is a prime example of their biggest weakness.

The Sixers are without Tyrese Maxey, Paul George, Joel Embiid, Kelly Oubre Jr., and Adem Bona for the game versus the Pistons. These are five key rotational pieces Philadelphia will be forced to face the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference without. Four of them are sidelined due to injury while George is in the midst of serving his 25-game suspension.

This is why Bleacher Report named health as the 76ers' glaring weakness.

"Good health and the Philadelphia 76ers have long been enemies, and this season is unfortunately no different," B/R's Greg Swartz wrote. "Sixers fans have been through this before. Here's hoping all can make a quick recovery."

Bona is one of the latest additions to the injury report for Philadelphia. He is out against the Pistons due to back soreness after playing 16 minutes in Tuesday's game versus the Memphis Grizzlies.

Oubre is also a new addition to the 76ers' list of injured players, as Michael Scotto announced, "Philadelphia 76ers swingman Kelly Oubre Jr. will be re-evaluated in approximately two weeks after suffering a sprain of the lateral collateral ligament in his left elbow."

Maxey's chances of being eligible for end-of-season awards are in jeopardy, as ESPN's Shams Charania reported, "Philadelphia 76ers star Tyrese Maxey has been diagnosed with a tendon injury in his right pinkie finger and will be re-evaluated in three weeks, sources tell ESPN. Maxey received additional images and specialist reviews after injuring his right hand Saturday in Atlanta."

Embiid has missed the last six games for Philadelphia due to a right oblique strain that he suffered against the Miami Heat.

George is eligible to return on March 25 against the Chicago Bulls.

With the 76ers sitting as the No. 8 seed in the Eastern Conference, their chances of making a deep playoff run appear slimmer than ever before.
