The 76ers have their players ready for the start of the season. But, before that can happen, they have to endure media day and answer the questions fans having been dying to ask.

Media day for the Philadelphia 76ers is going to be one of the most anticipated days for a myriad of reasons.

It’ll be one of the first times anyone sees the new acquisitions, Jaylen Brown and LeBron James, since the respective announcements.  That, plus a new and improved Joel Embiid, is going to have media outlets raving for a chance to talk with him. But what will be the topics to deal with from the players?

Embiid addresses his journey from this offseason.

All anyone has talked about is Embiid and the new look and how he’s changed in preparation for this season. One can definitely expect him to discuss how he’s taken care of his body and changed his nutrition and just how he trains for the offseason. It’s also something to wonder about how he’ll keep himself healthy for the season and be the best player he can be for the team.

Brown discusses what working with James will be like this year.

Brown and James have a working relationship, at least that’s what James has expressed as of late. They have worked together in the offseason, and that’s about all anyone knows. That’s going to be one of the biggest questions when media day rolls around. Brown will have plenty to answer, as it’ll go into how he can work with James on the court and what they can do to compliment each other. It’s going to be interesting considering Brown may have to change his approach to what he can do offensively.

VJ Edgecombe having to take a backseat

Edgecombe was one of the best rookies last season. Now, he has to share the floor with four all-stars. It’s going to be harder for him to get the ball like he did last season. It has many wondering if it will affect him in a negative way or if he will be stronger because of the adversity. It’s also going to be interesting to hear the young man talk about a player he idolized in James and how excited he is to share the floor with him.

Tyrese Maxey changing positions

One thing Maxey can do is score. So it’s going to be really intriguing to find out how Maxey feels about switching to the shooting guard position. It hasn’t officially been announced that this will happen, but it’s definitely something swirling around the rumor mill. It may be in Maxey’s best interest to go that route, and it could increase his scoring output, even though he averaged a career-high 28.3 points a game.

All these questions and more will be on the slate when media day gets here. The day will be filled with questions, and hopefully everyone gets the answers they're looking for.
