Arizona forward Koa Peat is constantly finding himself linked to the Philadelphia 76ers ahead of the 2026 NBA Draft.
The Philadelphia 76ers have already or plan to bring in at least six 2026 NBA Draft prospects for in-person visits, per Jake Fischer.
Those players are Arizona's Koa Peat, Texas' Dailyn Swain, Houston's Chris Cenac, Santa Clara's Allen Graves, Dukes' Isaiah Evans, and St. John's Zuby Ejiofor.
One amongst this bunch is really standing out above the rest, however.
Peat, the Wildcats' forward, is finding himself linked to the 76ers on a plethora of occasions. This includes NBA analyst Brett Siegel, who, in a mock draft, wrote that "There continues to be chatter about Peat and his camp wanting the 76ers to take him in this spot."
The 76ers hold the No. 22 pick in the first round of Tuesday's draft, and he could certainly be available when Philadelphia is on the clock.
The 19-year-old is not your typical modern '4.' He does not have a developed jump shot or strong playmaking skills but instead relies on his physicality and athleticism to contribute on both ends of the floor. In his lone collegiate season at Arizona, Peat averaged 14.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.6 assists on 52.8% shooting in 36 games.
While it would be ideal for Peat to begin improving his outside shot, the Sixers are not a team that requires that on Day 1. Tyrese Maxey, V.J. Edgecombe, Paul George, and Joel Embiid are capable of creating their own shot, including from three-point range.
Peat could undoubtedly thrive in the Sixers' system, which is likely part of the reason his camp is pushing for him to end up in Philadelphia.
There are, however, other intriguing options for the 76ers given how deep of a draft class this is. Cenac has an incredibly high ceiling, Graves and Swain are more established than most in that range, Evans is an incredible shooter from the arc, and Ejiofor is one of the most tenacious players in the class.
Regardless of if Peat ends up in Philadelphia or not, it's clear there's a connection between the two parties leading up to draft day.
