Here’s who might be available for Milwaukee’s game tonight

The Milwaukee Bucks are 1-8 across their last nine games.

It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that the team that started the season 4-1 now feels light years away, at least for the time being, now that the Bucks are sitting at 9-13.

After what has been a difficult stretch for Milwaukee, however, the team may just be inching closer back to full availability.

One significant step in that process is Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is listed as probable to play tonight in the Bucks’ matchup against the Detroit Pistons, according to the NBA’s latest official injury report

The two-time MVP and Bucks’ leading scorer missed four of Milwaukee’s games – matchups against the Philadelphia 76ers, the Detroit Pistons, the Portland Trail Blazers and the Miami Heat – with a groin injury before he ultimately returned to action against the New York Knicks last week.

Another important update for the Bucks via the injury report revolves around Kevin Porter Jr. (Lower Back; Muscle Spasm), who is listed as questionable to play tonight.

Porter Jr. finally made his way back into the rotation after missing 19 of Milwaukee’s first 20 games. After playing in the season opener, he later had surgery on his right meniscus, and after working his way back, suited up against the Brooklyn Nets for the first time in over a month on Nov. 29.

Other players who are questionable to play ahead of this evening’s matchup are Bobby Portis (Left Eye; Corneal Abrasion) and Gary Harris (Right Achilles Soreness). Taurean Prince (Neck Surgery) is listed as out.

“We’ve been dealing with injuries from the start, literally, so it was a little tough to get a feel, but I’m making my push to come back and be healthy with the team,” Porter Jr. said in a postgame interview on Dec. 1. “And I think we haven’t really seen what we can be with a healthy team, so I think that’s our main thing is trying to get everyone available. And the more we play…we’ll start to see what gels and what we need to subtract and what we need to stick with.”

    Pistons' Injury Updates

On the Pistons’ side, Duncan Robinson (Right Ankle Sprain) is listed as questionable per the latest injury report, and Bobi Klintman (Left Ankle Sprain) is listed as out.

The Pistons currently sit at 17-4 and have proven to be the Eastern Conference’s juggernaut to begin the 2025-26 NBA season.

Milwaukee has already lost to Detroit, falling 129-116 on Nov. 22. Now, the two teams will meet again tonight and then play each other on Dec. 6 as well.

Tip-off tonight is set for 8 p.m. EST.
