Bucks Could Welcome Back Myles Turner Against Denver Nuggets cover image

Myles Turner could return to the lineup for the Milwaukee Bucks as they take on the Denver Nuggets.

The Milwaukee Bucks will try to find some offense as they take on the Denver Nuggets on Friday.

The Bucks are coming off a blowout loss to the reigning NBA Champion Oklahoma City Thunder, 122-102. The Bucks were outscored by 20 in the first quarter and never got back into the game. They've lost three of their last four.

The Nuggets are on a back-to-back, picking up a 107-97 victory over the Washington Wizards on Thursday. The win snapped a two-game losing streak for Denver. This is their second game on a three-game road trip.

These two teams previously met on January 11, with the Bucks walking away with a 108-104 victory.

Milwaukee Bucks Injury Report

The Bucks could welcome back Myles Turner to the lineup as he is PROBABLE with a left ankle sprain.

Turner missed Wednesday's game against the Thunder and has missed two of the last four contests, his only two missed games on the year.

In his first season with the Bucks, the former Indiana Pacer is averaging 12.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.6 assists in 41 games. He's also averaging 1.5 blocks, his lowest number since his rookie season.

AJ Green and Gary Trent Jr both showed up on the afternoon injury report as QUESTIONABLE with illness.

Unfortunately for the Bucks, they will be without point guard Kevin Porter Jr, who is listed as OUT with an oblique muscle strain. Porter Jr. missed the contest against the Thunder after playing 27 minutes off the bench against the Hawks.

Head coach Doc Rivers said there is no timetable for his return. He's averaging 16.8 points, five rebounds, and 7.4 assists in his second season with the Bucks.

Taurean Prince (neck surgery) and Alex Antetokounmpo (G-League) are also OUT for the Bucks

Denver Nuggets Injury Report

The Nuggets have a number of questionable players coming into the game with Jamal Murray (right hamstring inflammation, left hip inflammation), Jonas Valanciunas (right calf strain), and Peyton Watson (right ankle strain, left ankle strain) all listed as QUESTIONABLE.

All three played on Thursday against the Wizards, but given the Nuggets' injury history and being a back-to-back, the team appears to be taking a cautious approach.

Murray played 36 minutes against Washington, scoring 24 points and adding five assists. Watson played 40 minutes, scoring 35 points, grabbing eight rebounds, and coming up with four blocks.

Valanciunas played his first game since December 31, scoring 16 points and grabbing nine rebounds in 22 minutes.

Aaron Gordon is PROBABLE with a right hamstring strain. He played 33 minutes against the Wizards, scoring 16 points.

Tamar Bates (left foot surgery), Christian Braun (left ankle sprain), Cameron Johnson (right knee bone bruise), and Nikola Jokic (left knee bone bruise) are all OUT.
