The Bucks reportedly weren't interested in Porzingis.
Ever since the news that the Golden State Warriors are reportedly considering trading center Kristaps Prozingis, who has been sidelined indefinitely with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) and may even be considering retirement due to complications with the disease, the NBA world has been set alight with new trade rumors.
Porzingis just signed a two-year, $40 million extension with the Warriors over the offseason and with his combination of size and three-point shooting prowess, he presents as a valuable asset as a big man if his health can be guaranteed, which is a major question for the Warriors to face.
Since those initial reports of possible trading Porzingis rolled in, several teams have been attached to the Latvian center, but at least one team has reportedly confirmed that they aren't interested.

Per a report from The Athletic's Sam Amick, the Bucks were contacted about trading for Porzingis, but showed no interest. The Bucks are a team in a state of transformation themselves, midway through a rebuild mostly carried by their new acquisitions from the Miami Heat after trading forward Giannis Antetokounmpo.
But that doesn't meant that the Bucks are going to bite at any offer dealt their way and considering the amount of risk and uncertainty associated with Porzingis due to his struggles with POTS, the amount of skill that he possesses doesn't outweigh the gamble that it would be to bring him onto the team, especially if he's considering retirement.

The Bucks also have to contend with the fact that while Porzingis is talented, he isn't the caliber of player that would be worth it for the Bucks to sacrifice the draft capital they've been accumulating. The purpose of a rebuild is to invest in the future and Porzingis is an aging star that wouldn't provide the longtime value they're looking for.
It's also worth mentioning that the Bucks already have their center in Myles Turner, who fits much better in the Bucks' defensive-oriented approach that Porzingis would in that same scheme.

Scott Kinser-Imagn ImagesOverall, the current situation surrounding Porzingis presents too much uncertainty alone, but they're a myriad of fit and situational issues around adding Porzingis as well that it makes sense that the Bucks wouldn't be interested in an offer from the Warriors.
The season has just begun for the Bucks and they're still working out how to play with the roster they've already built. Adding Porzingis and the potential dysfunction that comes with him in antithetical to what the Bucks are trying to do in Milwaukee, and thus they aren't interested in hearing any offers.
